Since it was founded in Cagnes-sur-Mer, RAGNI has remained loyal to its home base, surrounding itself with local partners with whom it has forged lasting relationships. As one of the last independent French manufacturers in the street lighting sector, we attach the utmost importance to manufacturing quality products. Entirely eco-designed in our design office, our luminaires are manufactured and assembled at our production sites in Cagnes-sur-Mer (Alpes-Maritimes) and Tourrettes (Var).

By bringing all the skills that make our offer so reliable in-house, we control every stage of the process, from design to manufacture.
DESIGN & PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
A coat of arms, a design, a symbol – we create luminaires with personalized designs, faithful to the DNA of your territory. Once the lines have been drawn, they come to life in our technical department, and pass through the various departments, including mechanical R&D, optical R&D, the standardization department and the methods office, where eco-design remains a priority.
Our expert team of engineers and technicians ensure that all our lighting solutions meet standards for reliability, interoperability, performance and durability.
PHOTOMETRY
It’s vital to define the precise lighting requirements of an area through a photometric study. It enables us to determine the appropriate distributions in detail. This step can be an opportunity to improve the precision of existing lighting and reduce nuisance (cf. the Decree of December 27, 2018 ). The removal of superfluous light points can then be decided upon, resulting in energy and financial savings. We also retrofit all types of luminaires. This involves replacing obsolete lighting solutions with high-performance LED drivers.
SMART TECHNOLOGIES
To reconcile economy and optimization, we propose the installation of intelligent modules for the global remote management of city services, through the integration of interoperable interfaces – air quality, mobility, waste management, water management, photovoltaics, parking, waterway monitoring, security or even recharging stations, we respond to numerous use cases.
As far as public lighting is concerned, these systems can be adapted to maintain or even increase luminaire performance over several years.

After joining the United Nations Global Compact in 2018 and opening a Dialogue and Sustainable Development department in 2020, GROUPE RAGNI has integrated sustainable development into the heart of its management system. DEVELOPMENT
Our products come to life within our technical departments and pass through the various divisions that are mechanical R&D, optical R&D, the standardization division and the methods department. Some thirty technicians and engineers specialized in the design and development of lighting solutions meet today's criteria of reliability, interoperability, performance and durability.
THE PRODUCTION
Since its installation in 1974 in the vallon des Vaux in Cagnes-sur-Mer, the Ragni factory has undergone constant evolution. Today, they are supported by modern methods such as LEAN Manufacturing and CAPM. The production teams combine old know-how with the latest technologies available. Luminaires and brackets are manufactured in the mechanical, sheet metal and thermoforming divisions in Cagnes-sur-Mer. A production unit in Tourrettes is specially dedicated to the preparation and finishing of the poles.

Whether it's in the creation of our marketing tools, in which we strive to balance aesthetic quality and technical clarity, in our offer files, which focus on the strengths of our products and people, or in our communication media, which provide immediate answers to the questions our stakeholders have, the marketing department is at the crossroads of the organization's major axes.
DESIGN OFFICE
Customized studies are carried out on a daily basis by the design office, to support local authorities and professionals in setting up appropriate lighting that complies with current regulations.
Photometric studies enable us to find the best solutions for efficient, rational lighting that complies with regulations.
RAGNI was awarded the “Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant” label in 2017. Under the authority of the Ministry of Industry, this distinction promotes rare trades and excellent know-how. The label is a mark of recognition to highlight the quality of French manufacturing.
In 2017, RAGNI joined the French Fab movement to promote French industrial excellence abroad.
