Since it was founded in Cagnes-sur-Mer, RAGNI has remained loyal to its home base, surrounding itself with local partners with whom it has forged lasting relationships. As one of the last independent French manufacturers in the public lighting sector, we attach the utmost importance to the manufacture of quality products. Entirely eco-designed in our design office, our luminaires are manufactured and assembled in our production sites of Cagnes-sur-Mer in the Alpes-Maritimes and Tourrettes in the Var.

DESIGN & PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

Whether it’s a coat of arms, a design or a symbol, we create luminaires with customized designs that reflect the DNA of your territory.

Once sketched, the product comes to life within our technical department and pass through the various divisions, namely mechanical R&D, optical R&D, the standardization division and the methods department, for which ecodesign remains a priority.
Our expert engineers and technicians ensure that all of our lighting solutions meet standards for reliability, interoperability, performance and durability.

PHOTOMETRY

The definition of the precise lighting needs of an area through a photometric study is crucial.

It allows for the careful determination of appropriate distributions. This step can be an opportunity to improve the accuracy of the existing lighting and reduce the nuisance (see the Order of December 27, 2018). Redundant light points can then be removed, resulting in energy and cost savings. We also retrofit all types of luminaires. This practice consists of replacing outdated lighting solutions with efficient LED drivers.

SMART TECHNOLOGIES

To reconcile economy and optimization, we propose the installation of intelligent modules that enable global remote management of city services, through the integration of

interoperable interfaces – air quality, mobility, waste management, water management, photovoltaics, parking, river monitoring, security or even charging stationswe meet a wide range of use cases.
In the case of public lighting, these devices enable us to adapt while maintaining or even increasing the performance of luminaires over several years.

DEVELOPMENT

Our products come to life within our technical departments and pass through the various divisions that are mechanical R&D, optical R&D, the standardization division and the methods department. Some thirty technicians and engineers specialized in the design and development of lighting solutions meet today's criteria of reliability, interoperability, performance and durability.

THE PRODUCTION

Since it was set up in 1974 in the vallon des Vaux in Cagnes-sur-Mer, the RAGNI factory has undergone constant change. Today, they are supported by modern methods such as LEAN Manufacturing and CAPM. The production teams combine old know-how with the latest technologies available. Luminaires and brackets are manufactured in the mechanical, sheet metal and thermoforming divisions at Cagnes-sur-Mer. A production unit in Tourrettes is specially dedicated to the preparation and finishing of the poles.

MARKETING & DESIGN

Whether it is the creation of our marketing tools, in which we strive to balance aesthetic quality and technical clarity, in the tender documents, which focus on the strengths of our products and collaborators, or in the communication media allowing us to provide immediate answers to the questions our stakeholders ask, the marketing department is at the crossroad of the organization's major axes.

DESIGN OFFICE

Customized studies are carried out every day by the research department, to assist communities and professionals in the implementation of appropriate lighting, in accordance with current regulations.

Photometric studies allow us to find the best solutions in order to obtain efficient and mindful lighting that complies with regulations.

RAGNI was awarded the ” Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant ” label in 2017. Under the authority of the Ministry of Industry, this distinction promotes rare trades and excellent know-how. The label is a mark of recognition to highlight the quality of French manufacturing.
