Smart Lighting

Public lighting is at the heart of the sobriety issue. The efficiency and optimization of their lighting is a key issue for local authorities, and is one of the key elements of their economic and ecological transition. To meet these challenges, we have placed standardization and openness at the heart of our product design.
The technologies we integrate are essential for optimizing resources, and enable customized management in interaction with users.

Discover our solutions to control your public lighting in an intelligent, rational and intuitive way.

DIMMING BY TIME SLOT SYSTEM

This solution enables you to save energy by automatically distributing the right amount of light according to the different uses required during the night.
Programmed luminaires can manage five brightness levels according to predefined schedules. This solution makes it possible to optimize its energy consumptions with a gain that can reach more than 50% compared to a solution without dimming.

Presence detection

Presence detection enables you to manage the lighting according to the activity of the place being lit. It can be integrated in the luminaire or offset on the pole. Detection can act on a single or on a group of wired or wireless luminaires. The lighting is then activated over the entire area or creates a train of light which guides the passerby. This solution can complement the dimming system by time slots.

GROUP DETECTION

The operation of the detectors is based on the Stand Alone or Mesh mode; this means that they offer multiple connection capacities between each detector and each luminaire, thus allowing great flexibility in the lighting scenarios.

OFF-GRID SOLAR LIGHTING

Autonomous solar public lighting is dedicated to sites without electrical infrastructure. It is also appropriate for projects which aim to focuse on renewable energy and energy savings. Technological advances in LED, solar panels and battery performance allow autonomous solar lighting to meet almost any public lighting applications.

WHITECONTROL

Dynamic Light Spectrum Control

Nocturnal artificial light has a power of attraction or repulsion on animals living at night. The attraction creates real ecological traps for many insects. On the contrary, some mammals such as bats are faced with impassable light zones, leading to habitat loss.

The LED, now massively present in public lighting, has an advantage: it consumes little energy. On the other hand, the blue light emitted by white LEDs diffuses much more in the atmosphere, disturbs the nocturnal fauna and influences the human circadian rhythm.

As a public lighting manufacturer, we consider the neutralization of these negative effects to be a top priority.

With WhiteControl, Ragni responds to these ecological concerns by developing an adaptive solution that provides safe lighting for users or amber lighting that preserves nocturnal biodiversity.

There are two types of modulation:

Time-based; in other words, the lighting adapts to the variations in light inherent in each season and to the circadian rhythm. Between nightfall and until bedtime, neutral and safe lighting focused on the needs of users is programmed. Once the hour of falling asleep (10 p.m.) has come, the amber light with a dimming system takes over, thus preserving the fauna and flora.

Based on presence detection; its intelligent sensor operates according to use and triggers high-performance lighting where simple marking was necessary in the absence of a user.

It should be noted that each scenario can be adapted to the specific needs of communities, inhabitants and the given area. In addition, the combination of several types of modulations (dimming, detection, time delay, WhiteControl, etc.) makes it possible to reduce the negative impacts of lighting.

LOCAL PROGRAMMING

This is an intelligent module that enables a luminaire to be connected locally, using a smartphone for example, and to reprogram the lighting by switching it on or off, the light intensity and the dimming of time slots. This device offers energy savings that can exceed 50% while maintaining great flexibility.

SMART CONCEPT

Smart Concept luminaires allow interoperability with the majority of industrial players.

As an Associate Member of the Zhaga consortium, the Ragni Group aims to reduce the risk of obsolescence and facilitate maintenance and upgrades of installations. This membership offers unprecedented flexibility and limits the consumption as well as the environmental impact of the luminaires.

The Zhaga socket (book18) allows quick and tool-free installation of any Zhaga-D4i certified controller. The Zhaga interface provides a set of standardized components with the driver including power supply, mechanical interface and communication. The luminaires can then accommodate communication nodes, presence detectors or other connected objects.
